Pigskin Pix began its digital journey in the summer of 2001, bringing the football pick'em experience online and giving players a place to register, make their picks, and follow the competition throughout the NFL season.
What started as a way for friends and football fans to compete became something more. During its first season online, Pigskin Pix continued to grow with improved scoring, expanded statistics, and game-by-game results that transformed a simple idea into a growing football tradition.

Pigskin Pix continued to evolve through the next seasons with improvements that made the competition easier and more enjoyable for players. Better navigation, simpler sign-on, clearer scoring, and expanded team information helped create a more complete weekly football experience.

After the 2003 season, life moved in different directions and the Pigskin Pix tradition went quiet. The website disappeared, and the competition paused.
For many years, Pigskin Pix existed only as a memory — a reminder of seasons past and the fun of competing with friends.

Before the full online revival, Pigskin Pix found its way back onto the football field. The competition returned in a simpler form, with picks and scores tracked the old-fashioned way.
While the technology had changed, the reason Pigskin Pix existed had not — the fun of competing, following football, and having bragging rights with friends.
Those seasons reignited the idea that Pigskin Pix was worth bringing back online.

After a long, unplanned online hiatus, Pigskin Pix returned — bringing back a football tradition that started more than 20 years ago.
The revival began when the original Pigskin Pix code was rediscovered on an old hard drive, making it possible to rebuild the site and bring the competition back online.
With the original code recovered and a renewed vision for the future, the site received a modern redesign focused on making picks, scores, and competition easier to follow.
The return of Pigskin Pix preserves the spirit of the original football tradition while creating a foundation for the next chapter of the journey.
